WHAT'S GUG.LUX???
The name "Gug.lux" has its beginnings in a memory from my school days. When I was in eighth grade, I spotted my teacher walking up the school stairs with a book about animals in her hands. Curious, I asked her where she was going, and she mentioned she was going to throw the book away...

I felt quite sad about it and asked if I could have it instead. From that moment on, I started adding things to the book, inviting my classmates and close friends to jot down whatever came to mind on each page.

Sharing those pages with others brought me joy, and I loved how the book evolved with every addition, becoming a tangible collage to flip through.
I grew attached to it and decided to give it a name. I played around with the letters, trying to make it sound good, and added a dot in the middle of the six letters, creating "Gug.lux".

By offering a second chance to this book, transforming it and giving it a new name, I continue to sign my artworks with the name GUG_LUX to this day.
MY ART HISTORY

From a tender age, I turned to drawing as an escape from the constraints of the real world. My room became a sanctuary where my imagination could take flight, allowing me to express myself freely and without reservation. It's a passion I need to keep going, indeed I have traveled extensively and studied in many different places, where I have always continued to create, bringing out my impressions on canvas however I could. My paintings are like parts of me embodied in something physical and tangible, almost like "friends" I can reflect upon. Many times, they have been there, watching me in my room or sitting next to me during moves, or simply serving as a source of confidence in myself.
